November and December meetings typically are scheduled the second Thursday of the month due to holiday conflicts. Plans must be submitted to the Building Department at least 10 days prior to the meeting date to be included in that meeting. All projects on the agenda must have a representative present at the meeting to be considered. For more information, please view the 2016 ABR Meeting and Submittal Dates.

About the Board
The Architectural Board of Review examines plans submitted to the Building Department for conformity with its established architectural guidelines and applicable Codified Ordinances in order to protect and preserve the value, appearance, and character of the buildings and related structures in the city.

Plans Subject to Review
Plans for all new buildings, additions, renovations that include exterior work, signs, sheds over 150 square feet, and other accessory structures are all reviewed by the Architectural Board of Review. The design and materials used must be approved by the Board before a building permit can be issued.
