Bike Rodeo

About the Rodeo
The Aurora Safety Forces Bike Rodeo is sponsored by the Aurora Police and Fire Departments. The rodeo is a bicycle-skills event, which provides an opportunity for bicyclists, ages 5 to 12, to practice and develop skills that will help them to become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes. The goal of the bike rodeo is to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn, practice and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere. Children participating in the event are checked to make sure that their helmet is fitting properly and their bike is inspected before riding on the course.

The Bike Rodeo is held during the month of May. Registration forms are available at the Police Department or online.
