Automatic Withdrawal

Letter to Residents
Dear Aurora Resident:

The City of Aurora is pleased to announce an automatic checking / savings withdrawal program for the payment of your water and sewer bill. Once set up, your quarterly charge will be deducted directly from your checking or savings account.

When you choose to enroll in our program, payments will be deducted each quarter (February, May, August, and November). Deductions from your account will occur on the billing due-date stated on your utility bill.

To enroll in our program, please fill out and return an Authorization Agreement for Automatic Debits (ACH) form along with a voided check or savings deposit ticket. If we are in the middle of a billing cycle, please be sure to enclose a payment for your current invoice along with your Authorization Agreement.

When the City of Aurora receives your signed Authorization Agreement, we will initiate a test withdrawal for $0, known as a "pre-note." If no problems arise with the pre-note, your automatic withdrawal will begin with the next billing cycle.

With automatic withdrawal you save time and money: no need to remember to pay your bill, no more stamps, no more late fees! We'll do all the work for you.

Please click on our FAQ link at the bottom right-hand corner for more information.

Thank you,
Aurora Water Department
