CITY TO LAUNCH NEW RESIDENTIAL LOCK BOX PROGRAM

The lock box will only be accessible by the Aurora Fire and Police Departments and will allow emergency personnel to access a residence in an emergency without damaging a door or window.  The new program will be offered by the city through the Aurora Fire Department where the lock boxes can be purchased for $30.  Once a box is purchased a representative of the Fire Department will contact the resident to schedule installation.

Applications and additional information about the Residential Lock Box program are available on the city website or by calling the fire station at 330-562-7171.
