Finance Committee - Chairman Parks & Recreation Committee - Member Fireman's Dependency Board - Member   Councilman George C. Horvat commenced his sixth term representing Ward Four in January 2012.  Councilman Horvat is Chairman of the Finance Committee, and serves on the Parks & Recreation Committee and the Firemen’s Dependency Board.  Councilman Horvat chaired the Tree Commission for 6 years, the Parks & Recreation Committee for 7 years, has served on the Safety, Service & Utilities Committee and as liaison to the Aurora Schools Foundation. Councilman Horvat is the Business Development Officer for a national lending institution. He attended college for two years, focusing on Business with a concentration in Marketing. Mr. Horvat has worked in areas related to health and beauty aid marketing. Councilman Horvat and his wife Paula have been married for 30 years and they have 3 children.  He is a member of the Chatham Estates Homeowner's Association, in which he served as president and vice-president.
