About Our Department
The Engineering Department is under the direction of John E. Trew, AICP, Director of Public Service. The Engineering Department consists of two City Engineers, both licensed Professional Engineers for the State of Ohio. The Engineering Department is responsible for providing professional civil engineering services for review of topographic
site plan submittals, development improvements, roadway improvements, utility improvements, stormwater
management reports, hydraulic analysis, traffic studies, and grading plans for
residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
