TURKEY TROT 4 Mile Run/Walk

The City of Aurora Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the running of its 2nd Annual Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 8:30am.  Registration will begin at 7:30am.

The race will be held with the support of Aurora Farms Premium Outlets and will begin and end at that location. For more information or for directions please visit www.premiumoutlets.com/aurora  

In the spirit of the holiday, participants are asked to donate non-perishable food items to benefit the programs of Family & Community Services, Inc., an agency supporting local families in need.  Please visit their website at www.portagefamilies.org.

Registration will be made available online at www.hmapromotions.net or in person/via mail at The Walker Building, 129 W. Pioneer Trail.  All forms must be received by Monday, November 24.  Awards will be given to the Overall top 3 Race Finishers, men and women, and to the top 3 men and women in each age category.

The first 400 registrants will receive Long-Sleeved Turkey Trot T-shirts, and there will be a prize drawing for other surprises!!
