Aurora Leaf Pick Regulations
Note: The Service Department began the leaf pick up on October 24 and will continue to do so until all leaf season is over!
Leaves should be raked loose to the curb, but not into open ditches, streets, or stormwater drains.
Leaves also may be bagged and disposed of with the normal trash pick up. There is no additional charge as long as the level of trash service is not exceeded.
A resident may also bag the leaves and call the Department for pick up.
For your information, the leaves are collected into a compost pile and processed into a useable, organic material and made available to Aurora residents at no charge. (Location: Audubon Parking Lot at 186 E. Pioneer Trail).
