IF YOU ARE A WATER and/or SEWER CUSTOMER OF AURORA,
PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ENCLOSED
October 2006
Dear Aurora Resident:
The City of Aurora is pleased to
announce an automatic checking/savings withdrawal program for the payment of
your water and sewer bill. Once set up, your quarterly charge will be deducted
directly from your checking or savings account.
When you choose to enroll in our
program payments will be deducted each quarter (February, May, August and November).
Deductions from your account will occur on the billing due date stated on your
utility bill.
To enroll in our program, the
enclosed Authorization Agreement for Automatic Debits (ACH) form MUST be
received fifteen (15) business days before the debit date (billing due date).
Along with the completed form, please attach a voided check or savings deposit
ticket. If you miss the cut off date for enrollment, please be sure to enclose
a payment for your current invoice along with your Authorization Agreement.
When the City of Aurora receives
your signed Authorization Agreement, we will initiate a "test"
withdrawal for $0, known as a Pre-Note. If no problems arise with the Pre-Note,
your automatic withdrawal will begin with the November 2006 due date.
If you provide a valid e-mail
address on the Authorization Agreement Form, we will be happy to send you an
e-mail message reminding you of each withdrawal date.
With automatic withdrawal you
save time and money! No need to remember to pay your bill! No more stamps! No
more late fees! We'll do all the work for you.
Thank You
