About the Department

Under the direction of Finance Director, Tim Clymer, the department processes, records, and reports all financial activity of the City of Aurora. This encompasses such areas of responsibility as the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget, monthly financial statement reporting, preparation and filing of all county and state reporting requirements, processing of cash receipts, and disbursement of funds to meet the obligations of the city.

The Finance Department and the Mayor work to control costs and use tax dollars wisely.
