    • Time slots are limited within the 30 minute timeframe to reinforce social distancing, so register early!
    • 1 group/ individual will be releases to walk/run every 30 seconds.
      • Every participant MUST register! However, groups of 10 or less are allowed to participate together during the 5K.

Cost: $25

  • Includes bib and t-shirt
    • Register prior to Friday, November 13 at 5pm to guarantee a shirt!
      • You can register after that date, but you may not be guaranteed a shirt.

Drive-Through Packet Pick-Up Information:

  • Wednesday, November 25
  • 4:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Aurora High School – 109 W. Pioneer Trail
  • All registrants are encouraged to drive through and pick up their shirt and bib prior to the race on Thursday.

Important Event Information:

Pre-Race Guidelines

  • Pre-registration is required at www.hmapromotions.net
  • Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to support Volunteers of America.
  • Participants must be symptom free of illness for 14 days prior to the event. Symptomatic individuals MUST stay home.
  • Participants traveling to event are recommended to travel alone or with members of immediate family only.
  • Participants are required to wear a mask to the starting line and can remove their mask when they start running or walking.
  • Participants must wear shirt and shoes at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided at the start and finish line areas.
  • Please do not arrive to the Aurora High School senior lot any more than 10 minutes prior to your start time within the block you registered for.
    • Example: If you registered you or your group for the 8:00am time slot, please do not arrive any earlier than 7:50am.
  • The starting line will be marked with six-foot spacing between lines to ensure social distancing.
  • Parks & Rec staff will be available to assist.


During Race Guidelines

  • No spitting, snotting, or projections of any bodily fluid before, during or after event.
  • Port-O-Lets will be available in the parking lot.
  • All participants must avoid any physical contact with other participants which include high fives, fist bumps, huddles, or any other close contact before, during, or after the event.
  • During competition, participants must abide by the six-foot mandated social distancing regulations when passing other participants.
  • Water and a snack will be available at the finish line with staff wearing masks and gloves. We highly recommend carrying your own water, as there will be no water distribution on the course.
  • Please head directly to your vehicle as quickly as possible. No congregating at finish line and/or parking areas.
  • Spectators are not permitted on course, start or finish line, or parking areas.
  • Family members finishing at separate times cannot wait at the finish line for other family members.
